We feed all of our dogs a raw diet!
Below is an example of a raw meal.
It has 2 Chicken backs, a cracked chicken egg, Jack Mackerel, and a beef mixture that consists of dark muscle meat, heart, liver, kidneys.

First off all let me start out by saying that if you are a kibble/dry dog food feeder we have been where you are right now. The decision to switch our dogs to an ALL raw diet was one that was thought out and researched. And we hope that you will do the same. We have fed all types of kibble from what friends have recommend, to what professional handlers and breeders have recommended, what vets have recommended & what we found and tried along the way. From moderately priced to high priced. We even tried raw diets mixed with various brands kibble. That would be kibble mixed with a raw meat. Through all the dry foods we have tried we still had one issue or another, allergies, hives, itchy and or flaky skin, diarrhea, upset bellies and that is just part of the list. We knew there had to be a better more natural way for our dogs to look and feel their best. So threw doing research talking to LOTS of breeders and a few vets who feed and have fed all raw diets threw out the years we thought humm?? They just might be on to something. So we kept searching and reading and talking to whomever we could. And we were defiantly interested. But which is the best way? What is the most correct way for US to feed a raw diet to our dogs? There is so much information out there that it can be and to us it was sure over whelming. Now, I am not about to sit here and tell you how to feed your dog(s) or that the way we feed our dogs is the best way to feed. But I will share what has been working for us and how happy we and the dogs are that we made the switch. I will tell you sense we have been feeding all raw we have not had any of the above mentioned issues and the dogs do not refused a meal. They look, act and feel AMAZING and are very HEALTHY HAPPY dogs. I will tell you we have saved money on feeding our dogs. A high quality of dry dog food can be VERY expensive to feed. And when your feeding a multiple amount of dogs the bill can get hefty. We know and we willing did it for years and would still be doing it if it had worked out for all of our dogs. But it did not. I will tell you I have raised a few litters this way and they were the best looking pups I have raised over kibble fed pups ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. They had a different look and feel about them. And that sure impressed me to say the least!
So, we feed only RAW MEATS and EGGS. We do not feed fruits, grains or veggies. We do add from time to time Yogurt or cottage cheese. We also add to each meal DOGZYMES ULTIMATE. I will list information on this product later on. Now you might be asking your self. Why No Veggies, Fruits or Grains? Many moons ago when dogs were wild. They caught their own meals. Which would be some type of wild animal of some sort. They did not how ever hunt down a back of wild fruits or veggies. It is thought by some that they did consume some of the stomach contents of their prey. But for us we feel that dogs are true carnivore's and eat meat. Dont get me wrong here, My dogs LOVE RAW not cooked apples, water & honey dew melons, green beans and carrots. And if someone in the house hold is eating them we'll happily share with the dogs. With how we feed our dogs it took all the guess and being unsure about raw feeding out. We feed our dog an amount that works for each dog. We do not pre-measure meals. We feed according to how each dog looks. If they look to thin we simply add more meat to their meal. If they are over weight we take away some from each meal. And yes it is that simple. They only thing I keep in mind is my dogs diet needs to be 10% organ meat, bones give your dog clean teeth and calcium and the rest is muscle meat and that fish give them their omega's. And it is pretty much that simple for US. We give yogurt for the digestive emyemes and cottage cheese for calcium and plus they like them both a lot.
DOGZYMES ULTIMATE
I said I would come back to this one for you. We love it. We add it to each meal. It is all natural. And your dogs body only takes from it what it needs and then pass the rest out with it's waste. Here is a Very short list of what is in it. Vit A, D, E, K, C, B-12 Folic Acid, Taurine and Iron. Again this is a short list. You just scoop it out of the container and mix it in your dogs food. It has parmesan cheese in it so it smells AMAZING and the dogs just love it too. It is made by Nature's Pharmacy. For us this unique blend of vitamins, minerals and amino acids mixed with their meals give each one of our dogs exactly what they need to look and feel their best.
Stunner and Nyla are both raw fed and raised. And they are more than enough proof for me. Just look at them. We no longer have the issues listed above with the dogs. Or any other issues to be concerned with like we did when we fed our dogs dry dog food / kibble diets and did I mention the poop issues? THERE IS NOT ONE!! And how wonderful is that? I paid someone to come and clean the poop out of my yard. It was smelly sometimes hard some times runny and always STINKY! Ewww.. But on a raw diet the poop has a very slight if no odor at all. It is small poop. No more big cow poops in the yard and we are so happy about it. A raw fed dogs poop is small firm and mostly white in color. It crumbles away if you do not get to pick it up right away. So no more yard filled with doggie land mines. And I no longer pay to have anyone clean my yard up. How relieving for everyone involved dogs and us humans.
Now we realize that we are lucky and we have very good raw suppliers by us. We would be happy to share their information with you. Please feel free to ask us. If you have a very good raw supplier that you know of in our area please drop us a line and share that info with us too.
